Mr. Tanis is a managing partner at Tanis Schultz and his practice focuses on representing injured clients for auto accidents, dog bites, and other personal injury cases. Mr. Tanis also represents businesses with formation, succession planning and corporate counsel.
Mr. Tanis received his undergraduate degree from Grand Valley State University in Political Science and Philosophy. Mr. Tanis then earned his law degree, cum laude, from Western Michigan University Thomas M. Cooley Law School and his Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Michigan State University.
Mr. Tanis holds memberships with the Negligence and Personal Injury Section of the Michigan State Bar, the Grand Rapids Bar Association, the State Bar of Michigan, the American Bar Association, and the Federal Court’s Western District of Michigan.
When not practicing law, Mr. Tanis enjoys spending time with his wife and two boys, golfing, fishing, and hunting.
