Megan (Mast) Smith

Megan (Mast) Smith is an associate attorney with Tanis Schultz PLLC in Grand Rapids, Michigan. Mrs. Smith's practice focuses on criminal defense, driver’s license restorations, OWI’s, and general litigation.

Mrs. Smith earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Theory and Constitutional Democracy from Michigan State University, and her law degree, cum laude, from Western Michigan University Thomas M. Cooley Law School. During law school, Mrs. Smith received Certificates of Merit in Family Law, Alternative Dispute Resolution, Criminal Sentencing/Law & Practice, and Conflicts of Laws.

Mrs. Smith is licensed to practice in all Michigan State Courts, the United States District Court for the Western District of Michigan, and the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Michigan.

Mrs. Smith is an assistant coach for the Caledonia High School Mock Trial team. Mrs. Smith is an avid equestrian and holds state titles in Saddle Seat Bareback and Saddle Seat Showmanship. Outside of the office, Mrs. Smith enjoys distance running and spending time with her family.
